can i buy that at a feed shop or is that a vet product? i thought it was a vet product

ETA that i have googled it and it is a vet product, just to make it clear i want something i can buy at my local feed shop ect, i don't feel she is that bad yet!

It's a vet product, so would have to ask them to supply it. I would give some of the herbal products a go before you go down the regumate route. Is this a mare or gelding? ( Yes they use hormones for geldings too) and is it her first season of the year? Only ask as I have a mare and she's a nightmare (no pun intended) on her first season and then she settles down.

Is she always like this? What is her behaviour like? I only ask as I suppose it depends on whether she is just stroppy or very hormonal as to which product to use?

i don't know if she is always like it, i have only had her 7 months and this is the second time she has come into season the first time she was only in season for a day.

she is fine on the ground just a bit more spooky than normal, but ridden she has reverted back to rearing and napping. i wouldn't say she was mareish or stroppy, i think she is just struggleing to cope with her hormones.

thank you for all the advice

Then I would try some of the herbal supplements first. You will need to feed for a while to really get them through her system and hopefully you will get good results. If every thing fine then keep to these. However, if they don't work then perhaps have a word with your vet. Good luck and I hope that she settles down
