Best horse insurer?

Apologies, I'm sure this will have been done to death, but I want up to date opinions. I remember last time I frequented forums e&l were best avoided, but is this still true? Any others I should be wary of? Will be for a youngster if that makes any difference. Always had horses but never had them insured, but he will warrant it! TYIA X
 
I insured with BHS and they have been great. Plus it coveres all horses owned by me and any horse i ride 3rd party. I would recommend them.
 
my car and the horsebox is insured with nfu, so we were naturally leaning towards them. I know you dont get any perks for being loyal to one company though :)

I am with E&L and NO PROBLEMS,they payed me VERY QUICKLY after claiming.They dealt with the claim within 3 days and then payed me within 2 weeks.
Actually I was on the phone with them this morning and they were VERY polite and helpful.
You go with who you feel is right for you!!!
