Have lots of horsey things to store away!

Currently using this gorgeous old metal trunk I found in my rented houses garage, but obviously being metal it's not the best choice to be outdoors!

So what do you use for storage (any pics would be great) I know we have the obligatory green and cream plastic garden trunks - they do however seem a bit rickity!?

Is it best to get a carpenter to make one? Source one from carboot? Purpose built (but expensive mind!!)

Thoughts and ideas welcome :D

I bought a plastic garden storage unit from b&q - i've got all my sprays and hats etc in there plus a few pairs of shoes/boots.

excuse the mess - I ended up buying another one for my garage and took most of the excess home

lol thats not tidy :D
you should see my garage - ive got one of those and i've just ordered two saddle racks and several bridle hooks to store all my excess tack

anyhow, the boxes are relatively cheap (£80) compared to some of the tack lockers i looked at (£600).
If that's what your after then i would consider making your own

YO goes to auctions every week and gets the long, green and cream garden storage boxes and a range of other shapes and sizes (including metal trunks). As long as people don't sit on them, their longevity's great! If people sit on them though, the hinges on the lid go and they look 'rickety' in no time at all.
