Best horsie book!!

Thanks guys. I bought blind ambition (77p!!!) and its doing the trick. I've got a few of the others already but it's always good to hear about more, as I'm a bit of a bookworm!!! Any other suggestions welcome!!! Although hoping not to feel this rubbish for too long.

The saddle club!!!!!! I had l of then being a 1990's girl!!! And thanks CeeCee that's a fab list!!! I'll put them all on my wish list makes it easier.

I love the dressage chronicals btw!!! Fab books looking forward to the third!!!
 
Stranger than Fiction by Joyce Stranger the story of her life (IIRC) working in various horsey jobs

Also the January Queen by the same author which is about a girl who leaves home to try and make it in farming and ends up with a shire horse

Both are unputdownable, deeply moving and excellently written
 
Just downloaded Fiona walkers one and blind ambition. Thanks for the suggestion to. Love Fiona walkers previous books and had forgotten about her.
 
not sure if its available on Kindle but Blind Beauty. i used to read it so much that the covers fell off and eventually a few pages started to come loose :( brilliant book.
 
always love joyce stranger books, breed of giants was one of my favourites. drag hunt by james broom-lynne is good, black beauty is always good to re read.
got that book by the forum member, author name elaine heney young horse diaries.

thoroughly enjoyed a book called size 12 is not fat and size 14 is not fat either, by meg cabot. so many good books out there, but depends on your tastes.

You must read Led By The Grey, by Peter DeCosemo, funds from the sale go to Help for Heroes and The Household Cavalry Fund, it's a magical story. I have read it twice and have bought numerous copies for friends and family, horsey or not anyone will love this book.

Totally second this!! Blind Beauty is a must-read for all horsey girls of any age.

Quite probably my favourite book of ALL time.
 
Just gone mad buying second hand Joyce Stranger books, loved reading the ones about her own animals when I was younger so treated myself xx
