As I wash mud & clay off my horses legs every night I spend alot of time attached to the hosepipe. Unfortunately said hosepipe seems to develop puncture holes and splits for a past time and I am constantly cutting out pieces and re-joining with a double ended joiner. I try not to get it wedged under the outside sliding door, and of course they always get stood on, but the pipe is not tough enough and the horse and I are regularly treated to a mini fountain when the tap is switched on.
I use a standard green garden hose with the criss cross pattern because it is long enough (about 15/20m), cheap and easy to handle and loop up when finished.
I have seen yellow Hoselock pipes advertised - are they any better? Does anyone have any other suggestions? I am sure plenty of other people have the same problem!
