Best hunt to go out with in the York area?

Just after a recommendation really.

Not hunted for a few years - went out with Y & A south a few times a while back, but I know BBBM & Y & A north, vale of York & also the middleton (?) are quite near me.

Anyone know the area well?

have had good days meeting with Y&A south at Bolton Percy and fab days with B&BM meetting at Bilbrough,Long Marsden and the racecourse at Wetherby also excellent days at Stockeld Park ,Aberford and Sicklinghall getting carried away now have to stop Both come highly recommended

Which side of York are you? We're at the Derwent, which would be a wee bit far, but often hunt with the Middleton. Cover roughly Stamford Bridge/Malton/Sherrif Hutton area on both sides of the A64

See I think I might be closer to B &BM as I am in Escrick, just south of York. I had heard the Middleton was a good one to try though & I don't mind travelling a little. Sherrif Hutton not too far, thanks!

Harry stephenson at the york south will give you a good day out, knows the country, loves the hounds and knows what keeps followers happy.

You're always welcome to come and try Bilsdale hospitality too!! we're not that far from you for the most part - and our day cap is only £45.

Y&A south meet at Escrick and Stillingfleet, so that's easy for you The meets at Bolton Percy are just near where I used to live, so only about 15mins drive for you from the yard, There's loads of parking there as well.

Y&A North meet at Aldwark, Marton cum Grafton and Boroughbridge all about 40 mins for you and I think they have a meet at Newby Hall as well- so you could park at my house
