Any suggestions. Within reasonable budget - the ice vibes are out of my league!

Vaguely thinking of trying the new premier equine water cooled ones. I need coolers for weekend long competitions, so won't have access to fresh ice.

Has anyone found clay that works?

I have read reports that it never really works well after the first minute or two, but not having used it I have no idea which is best to try!

Would love reccomendations ;)

Last year I purchased the Woof cool boots. These are two velcro strap on boots that are filled with crystals that when put into water activate and swell up to form a cool boot, which you then put on for twent mins, the boots can be used over and over again and it they are not used for a while you just put then back in a bucket of water for ten mins and then they are cold again and ready to use. I really love them, they are so quick and easy to use and do the job. Can not remember how much but they did not cost a fortune and you do get two in a pack. Hope this helps

Premier equine has 20% off their cool water boots today. Just got an email. I cant recommend them one way or another but thought it might be handy if you're thinking of buying!

I use the PE water boots, I keep an insulated picnic box full of frozen ice packs and water and dunk them in there to re chill.
