Hi,

I've had my new pony for less than a week and i've had to get the vet out already today ( pony falling over onto concrete + landing on sturrip iron = huge hematoma on shoulder!) so I was just wanting some advice on the best insurance companies any to avoid!

Thanks for reading and your help,

Jude

Have found Shearwater excellent (have had to make a claim - were brilliant & caring), dreadful experiences with SEIB (including charging me for a policy I didn't have, trying to avoid paying out for treatment to a leg tendon because I hadn't told them I called the vet to horse for minor cough 18 months earlier & being generally unhelpful to deal with at a stressful time, making me feel like I was a criminal trying to rip them off).

NFU have been great and you get to speak to the same person in your regional office not a switchboard with a hundred people answering!
