I have a little Welsh X who suffers at the hands of midges every year, but thanks to the warm and dry weather we've had early on in the season, he's already trying to itch his tail and mane out.
He has a very good premier equine fly rug, but he is a really hot blooded little thing and I think it's making him too hot which is contributing to the itching. He is in during the day and only turned out at night, so he's missing the heat of the day, but I still think he could do with something a little lighter.
Can anyone recommend a decent, but very lightweight fly rug that has shoulder gussets?
