Best Loan Agreement Template

Loaning out my 1st pony this weekend, looking for recommendations on best loan agreement template to download, any help appreciated

I always use BHS template that can be downloaded from here: http://www.bhs.org.uk/welfare-and-care/buying-and-loaning-horses and customise it for particular horse/loan.

BHS one and you can doctor it to suit. Though have mixed it with another one I found to perfect it

Unfortunately a number of horses have disappeared while on loan so..........
Make sure that you have the horse Freezemarked and Microchipped so that it can be identified.
Also ask for the passport, driving licence and rates bill of the person loaning the horse and photocopy them so that you know their true identity.

All very true, it is worth noting that the bhs template is Not a legal document.

I use the BHS template as a base, and then modify it. Really this should be done before you start talking to people. I have had a couple that once you go through it with them, because it discusses costs, their responsibilities, and what they can use the pony for, they never come back. With a small pony you have to be careful it doesn't get passed around.

I've said it before but unless signed off by a solicitor any agreement means sod all.
