I am considering going down the barefoot route, but am concerned about which hoof boots to use.
There have recently been some threads about boots to which people have said they wouldn't entertain doing any fast work in certain boots.

Obviously i know it depends on my mare size/ shape of foot ect but in peoples opinions which boots are best for faster work? She will be wearing fronts only as has always been bare behind.

gloves, renegades or epics (with the new sole pattern). I wouldn't trust any other boot for traction.

For fit (they have to stay on at a canter) then gloves if you can get a good fit. You may need to put power straps on and you would need to hire a fit kit to check you get the right size.
Renegades don't have as much wear in them but if they fit your foot shape they are fine.

Epics are more forgiving on foot shape.

I love my renegades.
They are great in all paces, all speed on all surfaces. Today we went up a big hill gallop. Very slippery and wet, no problems what so ever, she was very sure footed with them.
