-Ones that are renowned for not rubbing or coming off too easily.

My horse will have to wear over reach boots in the field for the next 3/4 months.

Thanks

I got a cheap rubber pair from countrywide, they Velcro up though and stick fast - my lad has had them on 24/7 almost 6 weeks and they've only just got a tiny nick in them. His legs are fine too, no hint of rubbing - this compared to a beautiful Eskadron pair that he ripped on the first night of wear :(

i buy the cheap pull on rubber ones and leave them on 24/7. obv i make sure they are all clean and dry but are the best for not getting ruined by mud and wet ground! plus they dont rub

My horse gets rubbed by everything, even the plain rubber ones. I used these: http://www.townfields.com/products/426/eskadron-fleece-lined-overreach-boots

They haven't got the anti spin bit (which never works on my horse anyway) but they have never rubbed him. The wool has done very well in all this mud and wet too. I just dry them fully every night and give them a scrub with the stiff brush in the morning before they go on. He's had them on for months and not a single problem, which is quite shocking for him. (They're tough too as he manged to rip a rubber set in a couple of weeks and these barely even have a mark)

I swear by my clicky clacky Westropp over reach boots :) Mara has had them on since beggining of august, and no rubs, the boots look as good as new. She broke off one petal when she was twating abbout so i just replaced it. Thats 1 big plus, no need to buy new boots, just one spare petal off ebay for 90p :)

My arab wears Pariani Over reach boots in the field, 24/7 in summer and during the day for a good 10 hrs in the winter.

DO NOT BE PUT OFF BY THE PRICE as they last for years. They are the only boot that I have found that does NOT rub my arab at all - never in fact.

Although pull on they are easy to pull on and off, yet not by the horse. The rubber is of a superior quality and thick.

They are £16.95 from eBay.

Get them then! :D They also desensitized mare to clicky clacky noises :D The gateway is a mud bath atm, and she just happens to always stand right in the middle of it all and i must say that the mud doesn't clump up or stick to the boots and because of the petals it doesn't stay there either so no mud stuck between boots and feet. They're rubber with no velcros etc so no wet velcro hanging round. I just can't reccomend them enough :) All my stuff is bright red, and so are these boots, she looks very cute in her red wellies in the field :D I got 3 pairs in total, 2 red pairs 1 for field and 1 for xc to match xc colours and 1 black pair to match my show gear for sj :)

Ooh! I put velcro boots on Ollie yesterday and found one had been split by the time I brought him in tonight. I didn't know you could still buy westropp boots!! I LOVED that sound as a teenager, clacking all over the countryside lol :D

I second Perissa's suggestion- Pariani over reach boots I'd really recommend. I went through over reach boots every month or so until I bought these over reach boots after being recommended them on here. Had them on continually, as my horse has graduated heart bars, for approximately a year now.
