Best Pancreatic Enzyme for dog? (Powder form)

My insurance has run out for my GSD now, so I'm trying to find the best value powder for her EPI.

As far as I can see, there's 3 main types, and their active ingredients (BP units per gram) are as follows:

...................................Protease..........Lipase...........Amylaze
Pancrex Vet Powder..........1,400.............25,000...........30,000
"Pancreatic Enzyme"..........1,000............15,000............12,000
Panzym...........................2,100............38,000............32,000

Now I was getting "Pancreatic Enzyme" from my vet, as I think it replaced Pancrex, but as "Pancreatic Enzyme" and Panzym seem to be a similar price, it seems that I would be lots better off with the Panzym as it's twice as strong?

From a quick look around, it seems I can get Panzym for around £46 online. (I was paying £65 at the vets for Pancreatic Enzyme, but luckily insurance was reimbursing me).

Any comments?
 
No worries, I've no first hand experience with EPI but it is one of my worst nightmares, it's fine if people are being responsible and treating it when it occurs like you are doing, but there is an issue in that a certain of breeder (who may or may not be breeding for speyshul colours and coat types, cough cough) are breeding away at known carriers, and also epilepsy carriers, despite knowing what a horrible condition it is, and it is becoming a growing problem here as a result :(
 
Check out the prices for Tryplase capsules too, you can open them up and sprinkle on the food! Do remember tho most vets charge about £12 for a prescription so factor that in, not sure if pancrex etc are POM meds. x
 
It doesn't seem to be POM - I'd thought until this morning that it was, but according to the websites it's not, so that's a welcome surprise!

Thanks, will have a look at the Tryplase capsules too.

CC - a horrible condition indeed. We're lucky that the insurance policy we had covered the condition for 6 years, though our premiums did go up accordingly, so in the end it turned out cheaper just to buy the meds ourselves!

Sasha is 9 years old now, and still looks in very good condition. She does suffer with her guts though, and is currently quite bad - she gets me up at least once a night to go out :(
