Hi all,

I am looking to download some picture and photo editing software for personal use.....but there is so much choice...I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good one.

Thank you in advance...

I use Photoshop Elements 14 which is a sort of cut down version of the full PS (you really don't need it all!) ......

Lightroom is very good, but there are others. Depends on whether you want to pay for it and what you want to do with it really.

Def this!

I have Lightroom and love it but it isn't cheap. I use it to enhance the pics I take and it's a hobby I enjoy. I can't do the fun stuff like adding in Santa hats or fairy lights etc, but I can change colour washes, convert to b&w, balance contrast etc.

If it's for fun stuff you can download a trial of Photoshop elements and have a go (it is a lot of fun) but if you're looking to create amazing images to hang on your wall, then Lightroom is a good investment.

I put some pics on my twitter timeline if you want to see the sort of pics I like to use it on. @zzClaire

I'm a professional photographer and use Lightroom & Photoshop, not really expensive at only £8/month :)
Start with Lightroom and once you know how to use it, move on to Photoshop
You can see examples on instagram : @joannephotographyuk

I use Photoshop Express for the simple things on my little notebook, and I have Lightroom and Photoshop on my 'proper' laptop. Something for everything!

Echo that LR and PS aren't that expensive at £8/month.
