Best place for affordable grass/paddock seed -- to do an area with a v good compost base (about 1000m sq).

A lot of local agricultural stores sell various mixes loose, check if there are any in your area. Many have an agronomist on the staff, they will advise - be careful not to get ryegrass if it is for equines. If you buy on line you might have to buy enough for a hectare or more
