Any recommendations?

Not sure which site to use, and dont want to spend fortune on ads.

Intend to put ads in the local feed shops etc, any other ideas?

I'm looking for someone who can continue schooling and competion work on genuine laid back 16.3 leaning towards dressage but can jump and dont mind if he moves yards, but would hope to be able to visit and watch if poss, so not a move to the other end of the country.

Thanks

try word of mouth first always good for loans i think - if a stranger you could let them have him for a trial at your place for a couple of weeks so you can sort the partnership. Otherwise why not tell instructors etc as they always seem to be aq good source. Failing that tack shops and then the usual horse websites i guess.

A-F, might be a step up from your grey?!! but he is very gentle and snaffle mouth

Definitely word of mouth and keep him near to you so you can check regularly.

How about the local Riding Club?

Also - and I am sure you intend to do this - how ever well you know the people get an agreement drawn up so everyone knows where they stand. Good one on BHS website.
