Hi all.

Just wondered if anyone had preferences on where they buy their clothing (and the many accessories that go with it)?
I generally only tend to use two - http://www.throstlenestsaddlery.co.uk and http://www.rideway.co.uk and occasional 'cheaper' items (if there was such a thing) just from a google search.

Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences on service, price and speed of delivery. Who are the best, middle-of-the-road and ones to avoid?

Thanks!

Avoid anything that wants payment by bank transfer. I can't remember the name of the trader now but there is one out there that offers supplements at very reasonable (too reasonable!) prices. Then when you get to the payment page the suddenly want a BACS transfer. No credit / debit cards no paypal....

I tend to google what I want and find a reasonable price - I'm not massively loyal to any one firm. I also go to a lot of big shows and suppliers often have show offers which can help.

If you just want basic yard clothes actually Aldi is very good. Cheap, basic but of reasonable quality for the price. Personally I tend to avoid Robinsons, Kickback Sports and Sports Direct for ethical reasons. (They are all the same company). And I'm not keen on Decathlon because they are not clear on the safety standards for protective gear -but I did have a pair of breaches from there once a while back which were absolute favorites until they fell apart. (From use - not poor quality). But when I want something brand name and specific I just google it and get from whoever offers the best deal.

Thanks!
I'm a little bit old school and tend to stick with places I've had good experiences with. Sometimes I think customer loyalty is lacking (and vice versa), so on occasion when I get a nice email offer from someone i've used before, I'll usually check them out and have a look. My son taught me to always look for the secure icon (top left of the screen) before ordering from anywhere. Either that or make sure they use Paypal. Good shout on Aldi for yard clothes though - had a good few fleeces and wellies from there already!
