Hi everyone,
Without advertising, what website would you recommend a to sell a horse.
Said horse is a 3 year old 14.2hh Skewbald Arab gelding, and is just backed.

I realise this is a more unusual type, and feel horsemart he will get lost in the coloured sections amongst the coloured cobs and sport horses.
Any experiences with coloured contacts? Or other type websites such as horsequest?

Thanks :)

As a buyer I have been looking horse & hound/horsequest/horse exchange/horse ads and a good one preloved?

Preloved alerts me the buyer if new ads are placed as I did pay the £5 to join for a years annual membership.

But I have been googling like mad and its wearing very thin

Definitely try Horsequest, have only ever heard good things. Also H&H. The problem with some of the free sites is that there are so many abysmal adverts that buyers give up way before they get to your horse. If people have had to pay to advertise, they take more care over their ads, the overall quality of adverts (and in some cases the horses in general) are better, and so buyers are more inclined to use the site, and take the time to properly look at the ads.

Also try breed specific websites as somebody else suggested, and also sites local to you? For example down Central Southern England (ish), the NFED ( http://www.nfed.co.uk ) is a very good classified site, with lots of people looking. I'm from down her, so don't know what, if any, equivalents are elsewhere round the country.
