We have had two ponies on loan for a year - a 14'2 mare and an 11hh mare. We had to have both as they have always lived together and the owner didn't want them separated. The 14'2 was for my niece to ride and she was a complete beginner. I have had fun on her taking her out hacking and popping her over jumps and she will leave the small one quite happily. But i had the land and the facilities to take both.
We are wanting to stop loaning as the nieces are now starting exams and boys are looming so they don't come and visit as often and it's such a waste.
The owner is currently a vet student and will not be around till June and she has asked if we will advertise them. I can put them in the local Moleavon but am not sure which online site would be the best and do you think many people would be interested in taking them as a pair. Also do you think saying they have to stay at the current yard would put loads of people off or are there lots of people who want to loan horses?
