So, as ive just bought a lorry, i need to sell my trailer pretty quickly. Where is good to advertise? Obviously horsemart... but i find that adverts get pushed down pretty quickly, horse quest seems a little expensive for something thats relatively cheap as does H&H (Sorry H&H!)...

Also ideas on how much it might be worth? Ive asked before but it was a long time ago. So, its a richardson rosette trailer, made in 2000. Dark blue, very neat and tidy, a few patches of rust but only cosmetic. Just had both ramps re-done, so brand new wood and carpet. Rubber over a wooden floor which is in very good condition. Has a partition that is jointed in the middle but also a full length breast bar if you want to travel without.

I'd like to price it fairly, but need it gone pretty quick so, ideas?

i personally love richardsons and if i ever went back 2 again trailer would def have another one.

i would say price around £2000 - £2500 (im not very good at these)

What about sticking it on E-bay. My friend sold her Ifor on there before the auction end date as someone wanted it immediately.

I think around £1750.
I recently bought a Richardson Advance, 3 years old, only used a few times so in as new condition for £2500 - out of H&H - if that's any guide for you.

Putting it on Ebay is an excellent idea. I sold my Sinclair trailer on Ebay for much more than I expected. I had previously advertised it in Scotads and had no interest what-so-ever.

I appreciate that the adverts get pushed down quickly on Horsemart but buyers looking for a trailer will search right down the list. I sold a trailer of mine within 3 days, first person that viewed bought it & I had to cancel 3 others who were due to come. You could place an advert, complete with pictures & all details in local tack shops as well. I would imagine your trailer would be worth around £2000?

Another recomendation for horsemart although it was a lorry i sold i had literally hundreds of calls, and could of sold my lorry ten times over, it is also not a bad price ( think it was £15 when i used it ) i also advertised on horsequest but have to say didnt get a very good response from there.

I would have bitten your hand off for it, but bought a trailer 2 weeks ago

Would highly recommend Horsemart, I trawled their ads daily looking for trailers, it will get snapped up quickly, loads of people are looking at the moment.
