Best place to advertise saddle?

I really need to sell my Humphries and Swain saddle, it's a quality saddle that retails over £1000 so I'm loathed to put it on ebay as I know I'll only get a 1/4 of it's value.

Has anyone had success advertising privately on-line?

I want rid of it but I don't want to give it away....any suggestions welcomed!

well i advertised my kieffer on HHO tack ads, they are free for £500 and under and i had quite a bit of interest

Hi, i had a lot of success selling privately in the local paper, the deal is to ask for the full cash amount and allow them to take away to try if they want it they don't bother bargaining the price as already paid!! Saddles go well if you put in a buy it now price on ebay that way your still advertising but not giving it away?! Good luck
