Best Place to Advertise - some help needed please!

I have just found myself a cottage to rent which is just down the road from my yard - perfect and need to rent out a room to help out with the rent. I have been thinking about advertising the room but as it happens I also have a space for another horse at my yard as the girl who is currently keeping her horse there has decided to get rid of him and have a break from horses for a while.

So, I'm thinking this would appeal to lots of horsey people - but where do you advertise for this sort of thing? Do I advertise on a horsey site (are most people like me and want to find somewhere for their horse before themselves?!) - any suggestions gratefully received as I have no idea on this one!

I'd advertise on both horse sites & normal house share ones, but would word it as room to rent with opportunity of on site livery, that way you'll get enquiries from non horse owners too. But if you need the income I'd rather rent them separately so you aren't left completely stuck if someone moves.

Yes that's very true, I just thought it was a good opportunity for someone to keep their horse closeby to where they are living, but I should probably be more practical and think of advertising separately really like you say!
