Hi

I wondered if anyone can point me in the right direction to find a TB companion for my TB. He gets on great with other TBs. I have searched high and low on the internet, local papers but nothing.

Thanks

Hi Slinky

Ha ha ha ha your not wrong!!!!! Been out hacking today, round the gallops, played in his field (with the other horses in) lol completely turned around now!

So.. he really loves the company of TBs and its a real shame as the other 2 horses in the field are very independent and my boy loves a game and just gets security from having a friend horse nearby as he is so submissive. Been toying with the idea of whats best for him and I think it will do him the world of good to have a real friend. I feel awful when we turn out and he's wanting a game and the others just walk off lol. He's still a a baby really at just turned 6 so who am i to stand in the way of his fun lol

My horses own little pet horse lol

LadyT - them 2 boys sound perfect in every way!!! Why didnt I find them lol?

Do you think it would be acceptable to transport a horse from Suffolk to Co Durham? Maybe arranging a stop over at a yard on the way for the night so as not to cause too much stress?

Thanks

I think it would be fine with a stop off. However some are not keen on their horses going too far, though neither of them stipulate they need to be kept in the area.

The problem with a lot of the rescues is they wont re-home out of a certain mile radius so that they can always check on the horses which is fair enough.

Where I am in Durham there is no rescues! I am going to phone the 2 that you have posted there and see what they say! Thanks for your help
