Can anyone point me in the direction of the best places to look for land for sale? Specifically in Devon, I've set up alerts on OnTheMarket but not sure if that's the best website?

Rendells and Sawdye and Harris are well-known Devon estate agents that are specialists in land and farm sales. Their sales staff are extremely knowledgeable about the localities they operate in.

Echo stags or Rightmove. But heck you got to be quick at the moment. Anything around us in North Devon goes in days unless it is hideously overpriced or too small to be useful. Expect 20k per acre or more on for small acreages (like up to 10 ish).

In East devon land is selling for more like 50k an acre ? (again, smallish plots. But still) Everything recently at auction has gone for 2-3 times the guide price.

Thank you all. Its for a family member who is a cash buyer, looking in North Devon. I'm not holding out hope of finding anything suitable really as there's not a lot about, but did say I'd look for him (he lives abroad).

Is he/she planning on moving to Devon? I think it will totally depend on where they wants to buy and what he wants to use it for. I suspect you would need the have an idea as the weather can be quite unforgiving and the lay of the land matters.

There are some large parcels around as a lot of family farms seem to be selling up atm, but it would be sad to see these properties go to a second home owner with little intention of anything other than for monetary purposes or the odd visit.
