Hi All,

In an interesting situation, I have two saddles I need to get shot off. One is River's old one and I've decided the time has come to let it go, the other is Luca's. It fits him and has been totally reflocked but since the 'incident' (it pinched him and I fell off) he won't be worked in it...

River's is a nice little show saddle according to the saddler worth between 300-500 and Luca's is a Kieffer in excellent condition that she said was worth 600-800 second hand. Saddler said not to put them on ebay as people look on there for cheapies, so I am at a loss for where to sell them, she said she could sell them second hand but would take 40% commision on them!

Thanks guys - I've never had to sell a saddle before lol!

T xx

I sold mine on e bay, put a reserve price on them both, and was really pleased as got lots of bids.... might have been lucky though, as have heard other folks didn't do so well, but worth a try?

Trouble with a reserve on eBay is you have to pay a fee even if the item doesn't sell... I'll have a think, going to try putting some ads in local tack shops etc - I'm heartbroken really as Luca's saddle is just THE most comfortable saddle I've ever ridden in - and it fits him really well - he just HATES it.... ho hum... opinionated boy!
