Got a few bits & pieces lay around that just aren't likely to get used soon if ever (have been sat in a box waiting to be sold at least a year :o) - a few girths, bridle, headcollar, numnahs, bits etc. Have tried putting a list of stuff up at the yard but nothing quite the right size for anyone! Not sure if it's worth ebaying? nothing worth a great deal, it's just in the way and hoping pennies might go towards something nice & new for horsey... like ANOTHER bridle xD

Thanks x.

Hi
There is an Equine Car Boot on Sunday the 30th May at Smiths Green Farm, Nr Crewe Cheshire. £5 a pitch PM me for more info if your interested. You could sell your unwanted items and find a new bridle!?!!

Otherwise Ebay...Horse and Hound let you advertise for free, tack under £500 and i think Horsemart have the same sort of offer.

There are free ad sites like Friday Ads, Free Ads and Horse Trader

Hope this helps?

Oooh, equine car boot was just what I was hoping for but wasn't sure if there'd be any near by - only thing is I haven't exactly got much to take? Might feel a bit silly taking next to nothing with us :o Will ask my mum if we can go down and might PM you for info tomorrow :D Thanks!

I always advertise my old tack in my local tack shop, most have a second hand notice board somewhere, if not then ebay or the classifieds on here possibly?

Sol, Perhaps you could get together with some horsey friends to get a stall together or take their items with you for them?
My friend did her stall last year with only a handful of items and although sold nearly all of it ended up buying loads of bargains on the day!!!!
Even if you don't have a stall come and have a look and hunt down a bargain.

If Car Boots are your style then you could list everything you have for sale and go around a few local yards and put your list on their notice boards?

NVM had a good suggestion about tack shops. I have 2 very close saddlerys near me and one lets you advertise and one doesn't as they reckon it takes sales away from their shop...Muppets!!!

If you don't think it's worth that much you could donate to charity and get that warm and fuzzy feeling inside?!!?

Going to ask at the yard later, see if anyone else fancies bringing some stuff along :D Will have to try very hard not to buy too much though I think :o Will certainly try and get down there! Do you know how much it costs etc??

Thanks!

It's free to look around and it's £5 a pitch so if you can get together with some mates then you could halve the cost of the pitch?!!?
The postcode is CW25NU if you have a satnav or auto route it online but my mobile is 07545556661 if you get lost on the day and you need directions :)

Brilliant, thank you! :D Price isn't bad at all, will definitely try to get down there and may even hunt around for extra bits & bobs to part with I think.... :p
