Best product for greasy legs

So it was big ginge’s first bath of the year. His body is now squeaky clean but his legs, especially his white socks, are covered in black balls which I assume are grease.
I gave them a good scrub using warm water and fairy liquid but they didn’t budge. Anyone got any fail safe products or shall I carry on with the fairy liquid.

I also found they massaging pig oil in moisturised it, and made the greasiness go away (counterintuitively).

I've not personally dealt with this, but like dissolves like, so any oil should work! If it's grease, then something oil based will dissolve the grease, and then you can wash as normal if you want to get the rest of it off. I'd imagine warm/hot water would cut through it better than cold would.
