Best product to encourage hair growth?

My mare has a black dent/scar in the middle of her face - looks a bit like someone did a grackle up too tight and it cut in . Is there anything I can put on it to encourage the hair to grow back? She has such a gorgeous face and I'd love for it to be scar-free, though I'm not sure if it's possible...
I know cornucrescine is good for hair regrowth but she's a very light dun so was wondering if there was an alternative for the blondes of the horse world before I go smearing that all over her? x

I always found gold label wonder gel to be good for hair regrowth, it's clear as far as I remember, just google gold label should come up

Vaseline! Dunno if it will work on old scars but has certainly prevented scars and hair has regrown on my horse

Without a doubt - MegaTek

H had a little bald patch (about the size of a 1p) and I put a dollop on one Sunday - next Saturday I couldn't find it! He had some really nasty rug rubs, rubbed in some MegaTek and within the week the areas were covered. I have been rubbing it in to his mane where it had rubbed away with the rug and it is just about back the same as the rest.
