I have been lucky enough to purchase a brand new Albion K2 jumping saddle :) I have never had a saddle from new before and I am after some advice on the best product to use on it, does anyone have any thoughts?

Horsemans one step is brill. Cleans and conditions. Got best out of product reviews in one of the horse mags last month too. Can't remember which one as I have Your Horse, his horse, the bloke down the roads horse, all the mags in fact:D

Haha love it, thank you, will have a nosey on the internet see if I can find some :)

I posted the same question yesterday, can't link as on phone but if you search new leather as the subject, there is some excellent advice from unicornleather.
Hope this helps

I got a new Barnsby saddle around xmas time, it was so stiff compared to my well worn in GFS saddle, the girthstraps used to hurt my fingers!!. I found that the Stubben Hamanol softened it up nicely and it is now pretty supple.
I did try Grand Prix leather Gloss which made it look nice but didn't really soften it.
