OK bought a gorgeous expensive bling bling dressage bridle for my young boy, only for him to snap the headpiece on the first time of wearing it........ NOT happy!! And what's more it's one of those none traditional padded comfort types with the noseband doing up on both sides and attaching to the headpiece, so you can't simply get a replacement headpiece (have emailed the company incase you can, but not found them for sale anywhere)

So am NOT spending alot on a replacement incase the same happens! Would ideally like a bridle that has a noseband that still does up on both sides (to try and utilise my bling bling one from the broken bridle if at all possible!)

Needs to be cheap, but good quality. Any recommendations???

I bought a JHL (jumpers horseline) bridle a couple of weeks ago off ebay, brand new for £28.99. Its lovely and soft and looks too.

Caught the bit on his weave grill as I turned by back for five seconds, pulled back and it snapped, did what it should have done in my opinion over not snapping and causing him an injury.... (He's a big boy with a fair amount of strength)

He's a sharp big baby and into EVERYTHING if he can find trouble, he's there!!! lol!! thanks everyone for your ideas. Does anyone rate the Heritage comfort bridle, looks lovely, no idea of the leather quality?

I bought the heritage comfort bridle 2 weeks ago and am chuffed to bits with it!! Leather is gorgeous and soft already!!

I bought the heritage comfort bridle last year and it was gorgeous. Really really impressed. Unfortunatly it looked rediculous on my TB's little head! Its quite chunky. I'd buy one again if i had a bigger horse for sure.

I bought a heritage one last year, was initially quite impressed but it has now stretched to the point its too big for my horse :(
