Hello all, quick question please

I need a rear riser for my dressage saddle, I have the Lemieux ProSorb pad which I use with my GP ok but its too fat at the front to use with my dressage saddle, affects the fit at the withers and keeps slipping, so I want a rear riser pad which isn't too thick at the front.

I'm trying to choose between the Prolite Fixed Rear Riser, the Progel Rear Riser or the Gel-Eze Gelee Fish Rear Riser.

Anyone got experiences of these or any other suggestions?

It depends how big a rear riser you need. I find the prolite adjustable rear riser good as then you can adjust to the thickness you need.

If you need a biggish one and don't need to adjust it, I found this to be very good when I needed that sort of thing. I just had the back part and it sticks to a numnah/ saddle really well without moving (the reason my prolite wasn't so good). It does look huge but it compresses when it is on!

Ah thats great thank you! Ifield I had looked at that gel one, but wondered if it would move, so its good to know it doesn't. It looks quite a good option but I don't need anything too big - so perhaps the prolite adjustable would be better, but I'm worried it might slip like the Lemieux :S

Thank you very much for your experiences

I think the prolites are quite good when it comes to staying in place, my boy is a very odd shape which is why it slipped on him.

That gel one is revolting to handle, but doesn't move an inch

Ha ha, images of the gel one being like 'flubber' - that green slimy thing!

My boy had a DSP resection as a 3 year old and has a dip in his back from that and very high withers for a WB so he can be a little difficult to fit! Thanks again!
