Best rider insurance

Just started with a new share pony (today actually!) and want to get myself insured, just for riding and public liability.

Was thinking BHS as they seem reasonable and have heard lots of good things about them

Pony is 14.2 cob and 6 years old and I'm 23 if that helps

Petplan do a rider-only policy if you want one to compare with BHS, I did this a few years ago when sharing/loaning. Have you got a written contract? Just for peace of mind it's best to know what the owner expects and your responsibilities should the horse pick up a injury or you have any problems with tack/equipment/fencing etc. Hope this doesn't sound gloomy, I'm sure you'll have lots of problem-free fun

Horse and Rider Direct also do a rider only policy. You can gear it to the type of riding you do. It's cheaper if you don't hunt or go xc. Good luck with the share.
