All the rubber reins on the market seem to be very 'floppy'. Can anyone recommened a make of rubber covered leather reins which will feel a bit 'stiffer' and more substantial please ? I've just bought a pair of PE reins and they're nice quality but seem really floppy - if that makes sense ?

I love the Mailer bridging reins and use without the bridging strap. Rubber and continental all in one!

I have the Sabre dressage reins, so the rubber is on the inside, and the outside looks like normal leather reins. They hold themselves well and don't flop. My only issue at the moment is that my delicate flower of a cob is doing her TB impression and getting rubbed by them (which, ironically, never happened with my actual TB!). I may have to use dead sheep sleeves during her coat changes...
