Hi all, can anyone recommend me a good site to advertise my filly on please?
She’s absolutely gorgeous and I’m shocked she hasn’t been snatched up. She’s up on Facebook and Preloved and I have had nothing but time waster after time waster, happy to pay for my ad just want somewhere honest people are actually looking for a nice horse and don’t want to mess me about!
Thanks a lot!

In what way are they timewasters? How are they messing you about? Just curious.

Horsequest is probably one of the best.

Whickr don't seem to have many new horses for sale, I seem to be looking at the same adverts week after week after week.

Loose school her and get a video of her in walk and trot and either include on the advert or have ready to send to anyone interested in her.

I’ve been toying with Horsequest, it seems to be the go to place at the moment so I might give it a go!

I have had lots of people ask me a million questions which are already answered if they read the advert properly, had me send over pictures and videos and then just never got back to me and people not showing up for planned viewings, I’m really starting to lose faith if I’m honest!

Ugh that’s so frustrating! Is she priced right?? Often it’s down to price above all else.

Would definitely recommend horsequest if she’s a decent amount, tend not to see cheap stuff on there. I really like the Equestrian noticeboard too https://theequestriannoticeboard.co.uk/horses-for-sale-wanted.html but tend not to get a lot of youngstock on there. They also have social media pages.

Is she registered with a breed society? Might be worth posting on their facebook pages if they allow sales.

This was the thing putting me off horsequest, she’s definitely at the cheaper end, still four figs but low.

She’s a really nice type so I’m confident in my pricing of her, and I’ve had a fair people ask to come and see her, they just never show up or get back to me at all 🙄 it could be good to take a look at their social media pages I hadn’t heard about that!

She’s not registered with anything, just a standard passport unfortunately

Horsemart is an option, I think it's free and plenty around that price also. I've been looking for several months and I hate fb as there are so many different pages and so hard to search for something specific.

Facebook is crazy, every time I open it I get pelted with horses for sale, from shetlands for £100 to show jumpers for 20k 🤣

How old is she? 2 year olds can be really difficult to sell, not a baby but not old enough to work,. Another forum member has failed to sell a 2 year old.

Depending on type Horsequest has a good flow of traffic IF you have good photos. Why do you want to sell? Try reversing it and maybe you’ll get the answer as to why people don’t want to buy, but l agree there are so many time wasters who are just ‘having a look’.

She is two, it’s a funny age isn’t it! I’m not desperate for her to go, I don’t mind hanging on til next year, I’ll probably just give it another week and if it’s still not happening I’ll give it up as a bad job this summer
