We "inherited" one with the land we purchased but it's on it's last legs. Like they stopped making this model 15 years ago. My husband loves the adrenaline rush of "will it start today?!" But I want to get something a bit more modern and reliable for things like moving manure, harrowing and aerating the pastures, mowing, etc. Any advice on what we should look for?

My husband runs a golf course as well as doing landscaping and the odd bit of big tractor driving at harvest time and he would go for a Kubota if picking a small tractor - he has 2 at work and swears by them!

We have an Iseki and love it. We couldn't afford a Kubota in the same range so went for one of these on the advice of a friend that sells Kubotas. Definitely recommend them, you get a decent and reliable tractor for the money.

we tried to find a Kubota but couldn't, or at least only very very old ones. We found a New Holland. Not a make I had even considered but it has turned out to be a lovely little tractor. Ours has hydrostatic drive which is even more wonderful.
