Now that I'll be riding more often I think I need to invest in some good technical stirrups. There are so many, though, each with their own adherents, so I was wondering if there were any that help witn these areas especially? I have weak foot arches which are prone to cramping, and my ankles tend to stiffen and/or roll out.

Thanks in advance!

It's very personal and it would be ideal to trial some different types before committing.
I have hypermobile feet and ankles and find wide tread stirrups that offer more support the most comfortable.
Bendy stirrups make my feet flop all over

I would massively recommend foot exercises, perhaps getting a consultation (natural feet and gait specialists such as Gait Happens)? Weak feet affect the rest of the body, and orthotics, though often necessary short term, make the feet weaker long term. I think stirrups are really individual, wide treads work for many, for me I prefer a 90 degree stirrup than anything with a hinge.

I would agree that it's best to try before you buy as it really is so personal.

I suffer with chronic ankle pain from an old injury and have found that Sprenger Bow Balance work best for me, but I know others who cannot stand them. A lot of people recommend Flex On but I couldn't get on with them, so it really is swings and roundabouts :)!
