as opposed to taking a lunge whip to her?

She's managed to have a season over the winter and I just know she's going to be evil personified in the spring so want to get her onto something now.

Any suggestions as to what works best? Prefer not to spend the earth but if it works then hey-ho. Want to avoid her having 'the jab' as I'd prefer not to keep it herbal.....

We have one just the same came back into work about a month ago put her on Relax Me has helped also top it up with Naf Tempralax before she competes which we find better than the Naf Syringes. Good Luck !

Its horses for courses, I'm afraid...the most effective one that I have found is Naf Oestress, but different girls react to different supplements...I had a really hormonal one once who responded best to Regumate and that worked wonders but its very expensive!

Thanks guys - she's not unrideable but is becoming a bit of a cow and not easy to handle - I don't want to keep fighting with her when a supplment may help! I'll start with Oestress and see if that helps!

Good luck, give it a couple of weeks to kick in and load it for the first week or two...its such a shame that they have to go through it, isn't it? I always try to think what I was like with pmt and period pains and that helps me become a bit more sympathetic!

This is it - I'm a complete cowbag a few days before mine and the last thing i'd want is something on my back so Iguess I owe it to her!

Me too, if I were a mare I would be a really grumpy old one for sure.

Last year my daughter's mare was a first class something or another that I cant say on a forum, we put her on Oestress and Magic at the same time, it seemed to help but it did take a couple of weeks. We're going to start it up again soon.
