Best supplement for moody mare

My mare is always grumpy, ears back etc but never nasty

Last week she tried to kick anouther horse whilst hacking not like her at all, has also started not wanting to be groomed to "hard" as if she has a sore tummy

All tack, back teeth up to date so thought I may try a supplement to even her out!! Its that time of year as well so she may be a tad grumpy and just need a hot water bottle and a bar of choc!

Regumate, its saved my life!! I have tried all the other herbal type stuff and they did very little, now as soon as she is vaguely in season she goes on regumate and stays on it all spring/summer. Works a treat and she is a happy girl!

I find oestress works well.
It's one of the cheaper options so worth a try.

We had a very hormonal mare. She was almost unridable at the beginning of spring because of it.

We put her on a herb called Agnus Castus (or Monks Pepper). It worked wonders for her!

Maybe try something like that first? It works out alot cheaper than the commercial products.
