Probably wrong place to post this but...

Horse has got a slight cough (as in cough's once or twice out exercising). I think its because he spends a lot of time nosing through his shavings to find food he may or may not have dropped (greedy sod!!) and obviously is getting a bit of dust up his snout.

Is there anything I can put in his feed suppliment wise that might clear his airways a bit?

When mine had a reaaly mild cough once the vet recommended syringeing benolin down him twice a day. It worked and was very cheap!

Good idea - thanks!! Have got lots of Benolin at the mo because the dog has had kennel cough and the vet suggested that too!! The chemist asked me what kind of cough I had and when I said it was for the dog she looked at me EXTREMELY strangely!!

Thanks for advice.
