looking at putting in a winter turnout to save the fields and give the boys another option on rainy days

what would be the best surface? may also ride in it occasionally

do u mean just sand in the sand pit, like kids play in? how is that for poos and wees?

we have sand turnouts. providing you dont have it to deep its fab, if you have it deep than it is not very nice for the horses when it gets wet and its impossible to get a wheelbarrow through.
