Looking for a GP saddle for my cob. He's got a nice (fylde) show saddle and a Albion dressage saddle but we need something for jumping and hacking as I want some more grip hacking as he'll spook at anything... Would like adjustable so in the future I can use it as a breaking saddle for any new horsey I buy - and synthetic so I can neglect it a bit! Any thoughts? (

Ps don't necessarily want cheap I want good...

I have the Thorowgood T4 cob, love it! You can remove and change the knee rolls and the gullett is easily adjustable. I recently had the fitter out because I felt it wasn't fitting quiet right, popped the saddle off my horse and changed the stirrup straps and said 'that's it done!!' He said they are the best synthetics around and usually easily adjusted to fit pretty much every horse! It's easy to keep clean and pretty comfortable for long hacks. As far as a good priced well made saddle goes I don't think you can beat it.

Thorowgood. The T6 looks like leather too. Far better quality and design than the wintecs

The cob version is a great fit on most cobby types. The GP's pretty forward cut too so ideal for hacking and a bit of jumping. Jumping if much flatter and forward cut
