My horse coughs and I wanted to try a supplement or something to help him. I know about NAF Kofeze but don't know what its like. Also I've heard on here about Winergy Ventilate. Which is better? Any others?

How long has he been coughing?

Pickle had a bad cough a while back, turned out to be a chest infection and he needed antibiotics

Well I've only had him a month and a half. He doesn't cough excessively, and it happens mostly after a bit of exercise. He doesn't cough up anything. He's quite a moany groany horse anyway.

That really minging thick cough stuff you get *don't know name* we used put it in feeds... If it goes on you will need to get the vet out. Might need antibiotics. Hay and beeding maybe needs a rethink?

is the stable well ventilated? we found with our gee that she coughed in her old yard so we used soaked hay but our new one has so much more ventelation that she doesnt need her hay soaked anymore, she also coughed a few times in trot when first being ridden and thats lessened loads since she moved. ventelation is a big thing, gets rid of hay, bedding and skin dust, ammonia and other things
