New horse has start of mud fever on her heels - what's the best thing to stop it in its tracks?

Net-tex Muddy Marvel is fantastic, we had terrible trouble with mud fever on one, we tried everything and he had anti-biotics, this was the thing that really shifted it. Its 3 products that you use together - highly recommend it.

There are 2 thing from gold label. They do a pink udder cream which has chlorhexadine in it. Thats the same active ingredient as hibiscrub, but because it is in a cream it moisturises and dissinfects. I use this until the sores have gone. Then i use gold label event grease which also has a mild antisceptic in it. this acts as a barrier to prevent it coming back.
