Best things to wear whilst clipping

cotton overalls, done right up to the neck. and a good shower straight afterwards. eww.
and if you think you're uncomfortable, try wearing contact lenses and getting those little tiny hairs on your contacts.

I buy packets of disposable overalls and also use a mask is a standing joke at the yard that i look like a forensic detective investigating a murder case when i clip!! But i am asthmatic and the hair makes my breathing bad so i cover up hood mask the lot then throw it away after i am done!

I look a right picture when clipping!
I wear waterproof over trousers and kagool with a hood! I find the hairs don't stick to that!

argh yes contacts:s i do wear glasses normally wen doing it but i still get them in my eyes and have wash out again and again!!

i wear some harry hall overalls which are waterproof and the fair just brushes off them!

Bet you don't look as bad as me! My manky old cliping jeans (with tights on underneath), an ancient long sleeved T-shirt with my old paint covered college sweatshirt on top, the oldest underwear imaginable (hate picking hair out of my best bras!), wellies, gloves, face mask & goggles (wear contact lenses so can't get hair in my eyes) and a baseball cap. Sexy!!!!

hehe i was going to try swimming goggles next time as i hate the big ones that steam up..im going to look very odd

I have been given a germ warfare suit and gas mask to wear this year to keep the hairs out. I am so looking forward to trying it out in the not too distant future!

You and me both - in winter I loathe clipping and in summer putting in studs..

I have old check baggy trousers that the hairs don't stick to (thye're too busy working their way behind my contact lenses and into my bra) and they're a standing joke on the yard!

I'm sure i could wear a wet suit whilst clipping and the hair will still work its way into my bra...one on life's many mystery's...

my friend who works as a groom has found the only way to clip - pair of overalls with nothing else on underneath!!

Fine, until her boss walked in whilst she was changing!

luckily she was pretty decent, but she wasn't allowed to forget it!!

but there is a reason behind the maddness!

Not quite - but I do tend to avoid the full cover and wear as little as possible, vest or t shirt and jeans. I brush myself down afterwards, go home and get straight in the shower. Seems easer than trying to keep it all covered

I'll let you know! There will be 6 needing clipping. I plan on having a photo taken as I know I will look completely ridiculous. The get up is courtesy of my son in law who saw the state I was in earlier this year after clipping just one pony and said he had just the thing which he would get from work for me.

speaking of horse hair, sorry to divert but this has always bothered me - why are fleece coats/jackets etc so common with horse brands...? they are the greatest hair magnet of all time!

apparently someone sells disposable boiler suit thingys on eBay, i think i'd go for an all over body thing or not much at all - one of the extremes, or just pay someone else to get hairy and stand up wind!
