best time of year to sell?

what is the best time of year to sell? as the season has just about ended i realise now is nt a good time. i was thinking september but do people start looking earlier than this in general? also what sort of price would you expect to pay for a 8yr old mare who s been out 4 times this season proving to be a safe well mannered forward fun ride? thanks

early autumn - best and if you want to sell best to take it out autumn hunting with almost with 'price on her bum'. A well manner, good jumping horse you'll get fair price, equal to what you would pay for PN eventer. But market has dropped alot, if your horse would take a man hunting your price will be higher

Generally for a hunter people look if not needed asap! They look towards the end of the season as if it is still hunting they see how it has coped with the season.

Sadly 4 times hunting is not alot of hunting. As she done any other seasons hunting?
