best time to sell

got a horse to put up for sale in next month or so (needs a little more work). Whats the best time to put him up for sale?

I was thinking after xmas?

people are still skint just after, maybe try before, possibly get the bought self as gift market, or in feb?

early spring - people don't want the cost of keeping them thru winter with bad weather and dark nights making hard work

id rather have a new one through winter personally, but then i prefer winter

I would try once the horse is ready whenever that may be, if no luck i would then wait until April

I always find April/ May is the best time of year to sell.
