The horses already have a good diet and good feet, so topical hoof applications only. Soemthing to keep them in tip top condition and prevent the inevitable dryness than occurs during long spells of dry weather.

Thanks!

Cornucrescine daily hoof moisturiser, cheap and effective

I like farriers formula hoof treatment.

Keeps the mud off too. I get it directly from my farrier. Keeps his feet moisturised but not soft and supple.

Is that the white stuff that looks like PVA glue?

I thought it looked fairly expensive? About £13 for a 500ml tin. Can you get it cheaper elsewhere online?

I've got the traditional Cornucrescine dressing, the sticky stuff. I already apply that regularly to their coronet band and whole front of hooves. I find it handy to apply 'in the field' as it's not runny and comes in a handy little tin.

I have Effol at the moment, and my farrier is happy with how their feet are by using that. Nearly run out though, so will get whatever he has in his van next time!

Mine are fed balancers and look fantastic, its just to stop cosmetic stuff.

I do put cornucrescine on their coronet bands if they look a little dry too.

Effol as recommended by my farrier, but not the black one he says the clear one is better....not sure why.
If not NAF hoof moist again in natural.

I agree with the above, Kevin Bacons in the red tin with the brush in the lid. I use it nearly every day all year round, and it has really helped.

Kevin Bacon - if getting the solid one apparently you should use the one with the black lid. Not sure why but something to do with tar in it.

I use it all year round (liquid one in winter) and its totally ace.
