Hi, just wondered what in your opinions were the best trailers on the market. Definately would not touch an equi-trek, so no recommendations for them please. Would prefer to be able to keep tack in trailer and need to carry one 17' IDSH and a 16'1" m/w, car towing capacity is 3 tonne. Opinions/help/guidance please

Lots of these been done before - have a search on previous threads and you should find lots of useful information.

I have a Bateson Ascot (weighs about 1 tonne, so one of the lightest on the market) which I love and the customer service is excellent too. I tow it with a Kia Sorento with up to 2x 16.2hhs in it with no problems. Being white it is great in the summer at turning the heat - the horses stay nice and cool.

I've got a Wessex Olympian for my 17hh ID and 16.2 TB and they have tons of room. My big mare struggled getting out of right hand unload Ifor Williams as the turn was too tight. At the time I bought my trailer IW didn't do left unload so opted for the Wessex on that basis but I'm really pleased with how big and airy it is and it feels a lot more stable than the IW I used to tow. I tow with a Discovery 3.
