I know some people choose not to use any but if you do, what ones would you recommend?

I loved these boots but you just don't see them anymore but they do offer the best protection.all time favourite Is shot boots and knee and hock boots.
I rarely ever see any of the all in one cover the knee when bent. I always bend the knee as if horse has fallen in trailer and most leave knee exposed those joints are precious and I want a leather pad protecting them,
these are the ones I have, also bought several years ago and I alsoFo me the vulnerabe areas seem to be coronets/ heels, and knees. So I use these - but I bought them many years ago - I cannot believe the price of them now!!! Thankfully they seem pretty tough and have lasted well, so I would probably buy the same again if I had to.
