Have been looking at premier equine but haven't heard good things about them on here.

I'm looking for a rainsheet type rug with the option to clip in liners to take it to a medium and heavyweight. Must have detachable hoods.

I've got a cob type so must be generous around the neck and shoulders

thanks all

I use premier equine for my cob and I love them. They never slip or rug and they fit well around his shoulders. They are tough rugs as well there's lots of things in the field he could rag his rug on and it hasn't ripped. Currently he's in a no fill outer rug with 100g liner and a neck cover. Can't rate these rugs highly enough!

Rambo original with leg arches, no fill, with a range of liners 100g to 400g. The liners clip in securely and don't pull back. There are hoods available but I have never used one so can't comment on those.

6'6" fits my 15.3hh HW maxicob very well without slippage.

Just for reference, the horsewear Rambo liners fit in the premier equine rugs, and the premier equine liners fit in the horsewear rugs. ;)

I think the PE rugs are very generous round the shoulders though.

I have a Rambo Duo which I love. The only thing I would say is that it is slightly on the tight side around the shoulders so you may need to go up a size.
